Is an Online Newsroom Important?

1. 100 percent say having an online newsroom is important.

2. 93 percent visit an organization’s online newsroom frequently.

3. 79 percent visit both large and small-to-medium sized organization online newsrooms.

4. 92 percent want to get information via email alerts.

5. 70 percent only want to see news that interests them. 

6. 93 percent say it’s important to access breaking news within an online newsroom.

Content Journalists want:

1. 100 percent believe search is a vital component of an online newsroom.

2. 100 percent believe it is important to access PR contacts within an online newsroom.

3. 98 percent believe it is important to have news releases.

4. 94 percent say it is important to have them categorized by topic.

5. 73 percent believe it is important to access an organization’s financial information (i.e. investor relations, stock ticker) within an online newsroom.
