Lauren Cook
Tweeting for PR comes naturally to Lauren who actively documents life’s little ironies from her personal account. Originally from sunny Tampa, Florida, Lauren is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. Focusing on luxury resorts and destination management, Lauren’s marketing, public relations and social media background is rooted in the hospitality industry. She was an active member of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, as well as Rho Lambda Leadership Society and Hospitality Sales and Marketing International (HSMAI) during her time at UCF; eventually fine-tuning her leadership skills as she directed the marketing and public relations efforts of a signature event to benefit two local non-profit organizations. Lauren works with The Buyer Group and clients developing search friendly content including press releases, blog posts and articles while also assisting with set up and production of social networks. Lauren continues following and learning best practices in search, PR and social media via The Buyer Group Academy.
When Lauren isn’t working she is likely either outdoors enjoying the beautiful Florida weather, at a concert, or working on her tree pose. She is a Tom Petty enthusiast and pop culture aficionado whose guilty pleasures include E! News and The Jersey Shore.
